The Zemono Manor boasts a beautiful setting on a hill, amidst vineyards overlooking the Vipava valley. The Renaissance manor was built in the late 17th century as a count’s hunting lodge and subsequently served as a summer residence for nobility and a favourite setting for social gatherings and winemaking events. Nowadays, the mansion houses the Pri Lojzetu restaurant whose chef Tomi is one of the most acclaimed culinary masters in Slovenia.
Your wedding ceremony at Zemono may be held outdoors, in the garden, or alternatively in an elegant hall with frescoes celebrating the noblemen’s country life. These two magical settings can also be the venue for the wedding dinner, while there is a fascinating additional stone-walled hall suitable for weddings with up to 70 guests. In addition to the fairytale setting, you and your guests will be swept away by Tomi’s gourmet creations, which are characterised by superb ingredients, clean tastes and modern preparation techniques. The passion for cooking runs in the young chef’s family, and he proudly continues the tradition of the inn his great-grandmother had as early as 1897.
