Tabor Castle, Laško
The Tabor Castle is on a hill above the town of Laško and offers beautiful vistas across the town and its surroundings. The castle, which was first mentioned as early as in 1145 and later served the Counts of Celje as venue for hunting events and knights’ tournaments, nowadays houses the excellent Pavus Restaurant. Chef Marko Pavčnik follows the philosophy of fresh local ingredients and uses modern techniques in the preparation of his dishes.
At the Tabor Castle, civil services may be held in the inner castle courtyard or in the wedding hall in the round tower. The wedding reception may also be prepared outdoors, in the courtyard, which is shielded from the weather by a gazebo. The exquisite cuisine of the Tabor Castle will be the icing on the cake of your wedding dinner.

You may choose to tie the knot in the inner castle courtyard overlooking Laško or in the round tower.
Maximum number of wedding guests for dinner:
There is space for 100 wedding guests in the courtyard, while the two rooms inside the castle tower can accommodate a total of 50.
